KMS is holding its annual fundraising drive for the Jan and Carl Goddard Scholarship Fund, and we welcome the support of all current families, friends, and alumni of the school.

The Scholarship Fund provides need-based scholarships to KMS in order to:

1. Help children who would benefit from Montessori education attend KMS regardless of their family's financial situation.
2. Help KMS remain a diverse, welcoming community for students and families from all backgrounds and all walks of life.

This year, in its first year of operation, the Scholarship Fund awarded scholarships to nine children who would not have been able to attend KMS without this assistance. Additional information about the Fund and this year's awards is available here.

We have already raised $2,300 for the Fund this year. If we can raise a total of $10,000, we will receive an additional $5,000 from two long-time friends of the school. This will give us enough money to provide 8-10 scholarships again next year.

We hope all friends and supporters of KMS will consider making a contribution to the Jan and Carl Goddard Scholarship Fund. Any amount that you can give - from $5 to $500 or more - would be helpful and much appreciated.
