Heather Klessig-Zeiger

Upper Elementary Assistant

Heather holds a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. Originally from Chilton, Wisconsin, she completed her internship at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans and then worked for 17 years as a therapist in a mental health day treatment center for at-risk youth. For the past decade, she served as the Lead Outdoor Guide at a Montessori School. Known for her creativity, initiative, and commitment to child development, Heather creates nurturing environments where students feel safe and empowered. She values integrity, lifelong learning, and a growth mindset. Heather lives with her husband and their two children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time in nature, photography, pottery, vintage homes, and landscaping.
