Our Staff
The KMS team is filled with nurturing, talented, individuals. All of the staff care deeply about our students and work hard on a daily basis to help children reach their full potential.
Our teachers includes some of the best and most experienced Montessori educators in East Tennessee and are required to have a Montessori certification from training centers accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education.

Board of Trustees
KMS is governed by a Board of Trustees composed of parents, community representatives, and members of our staff. The Board has fiduciary responsibility for the school. Board members also set policy, do long-term planning, and help with fundraising.
Parents and community representatives are elected at a parent meeting in April for the following school year. They serve three-year terms and can be elected a total of two times.
