Kimberly Barnes

Middle School Lead Teacher

Kimberly is originally from Buffalo, New York, and holds a B.M. and M.Mus. in Violin Performance, along with an M.Ed. with an emphasis in Montessori Education. She has completed an AMI Orientation in Adolescent Studies and earned her AMI Elementary diploma from the Montessori Institute of Atlanta. Kimberly is a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) and an instructor for First Aid/CPR/AED. She lives with her husband, daughter, four cats, and a dog. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, backpacking, eating chocolate, and watching action movies, especially those from the Marvel universe.
