Walter Squires

High School Lead Teacher

Walter holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Iona College and an M.A. in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee. Originally from Hampton Bays, New York, he first encountered Montessori education while living in Greenville, South Carolina. He worked as a Lower Elementary Assistant Guide for several years before relocating to Knoxville for his partner’s PhD program. Walter enjoys both physical and digital games, 3D printing, fermenting foods and beverages, and listening to audiobooks.
